So Exactly What Is PLR Content Anyway?

Posted by admin

I think in everyone’s internet endeavors, there comes a time when they hear rumblings about this magic thing called PLR content. We all know that quality content is king, but exactly where do we get that content day after day, week after week, month after month? This may include more than just populating a website too. Of course, you need those articles or blog posts to keep your readers happy, but what about things like ebooks, courses you may want to send your readers through email, and many other things. The need that the average webmaster has for the written word can get absolutely overwhelming.

Can you just write these things yourself? Of course you can. But not all of us are cut out to be writers. Where do you get ideas from? How do you flesh those ideas out into a good article? Where do you even get started? These are all things that you’ll come up against on a daily basis. And even if you can write your own stuff, can you do it fast enough? Having the talent to write yourself is a wonderful thing, but if it takes you three days to come up with a five hundred word article, this will do you no good.

The next thing that many people think of is the possibility of outsourcing the work to a ghostwriter. This is, of course, an option that is worth considering. Especially if you have the budget to make it work. But good writers don’t come cheap. For a quality article that you would be happy to use on your site, you can expect to pay in the twenty to thirty dollar range. A few times might be okay, but can you imagine doing this to solve all your writing needs? The cost would get ridiculous!

And that is how PLR content came about. As a solution to this need. It has helped a great many people get over the hurdles that everyone on the internet has faced. PLR is short for Private Label Rights. It means that you can use it exactly the same way as if you had written it yourself. Do you want to change the way something is written? Go ahead, it’s yours. Do you want to sign your name as the author? You can do that too. Do you want to sell it? Make a mint, if you can. Or maybe you even want to just give it out to get people to sign up on your mailing list? Great! Let the generosity flow!

In a nutshell, this is all that PLR content is - Someone else has done all the hard work, and created a product for you. You can then use this product as if you had created it yourself. How great is that!

Nice post. Exactly what I was looking for. I’ve been wondering about all this private label stuff. This clears it up for me. Thanks.
